Annika Christensen, President, has a degree in Interior Design from Harrington
College of Interior Design and 20 years of Interior
Design experience. A native of Sweden, she moved to the US in
1980.
Annika worked
for five years at a Design Firm in Kenilworth prior to
opening her own business, A.C. Design, Ltd. which she
operated for nine years until merging it with Midnight Sun,
Ltd. in 2002, her latest venture. Annika's retail shop in
Libertyville offers beautiful Swedish Antiques and Home
Furnishings along with a full service Interior Design Firm.
Annika's right hand woman, Lois
Blazsanyik,is a graduate
of Sheffield School of Interior Design, and a
multitalented artist. While living in Australia for eight years
she received a degree in Art from Prahan College of TAFE,
Melbourne, with a major in textiles. While working with
Tapestry Studios of Australia, she was commissioned to create
woven tapestries for Australia's new Parliament House in
Canberra
Lois is a
published author of craft books, having sold over a million
copies.
Both designers
share the philosophy that a client's home should reflect their
individual taste and lifestyle. Good design should last, and
